Starting A Dead Car Battery Using Aspirin
When your car battery gives up, it doesn't mean that there's no chance to revive it. A dead battery can put a damper on your day but before you call someone to come get you, try the simple tips below on fixing a dead battery and bringing it back to life. As weird as it may sound, you will need an aspirin to start a dead battery.
Aspirin will charge your dead car battery one more time and this may help you get to the closest service station. The aspirin's acetylsalicylic acid will combine with the battery's sulfuric acid to produce one last charge.
Here are the ways of starting a dead car battery with the use of aspirin:
1. Open your hood and check if you need to remove the connectors to open the car battery.
2. Check the cables to know if you have to take the cables off or not.
3. Pop the top of the car battery cell off with your fingers or a screw driver.
4. Start dropping two aspirin tablets into the battery itself. The chemical reaction should give you enough juice for one more start-up.
5. Return the top on the battery and start the car immediately. Don’t wait around!
